Factories & Farms

For factories and farms, which often have high energy needs and ample space for installations, solar power is not just an environmentally friendly choice but also a financially smart one.

Factories typically have large energy requirements, with bills frequently exceeding 100,000 Baht per month. A tailored solar system can significantly slash these costs and pay for itself in just 3-6 years. After this period, the factory benefits from substantially reduced operational costs.

Farms, particularly those using energy-intensive processes like irrigation and cooling, can also see dramatic savings. A farm spending around 30,000 Baht per month on electricity could cut this expenditure by up to 70-80% and become profitable in 4-5 years, offering almost free energy thereafter.

Offices & Schools

Offices, school buildings and similar typically run lots of air conditioners and use virtually all of their electricity during the daytime, which makes them a perfect fit for a solar installation.

An example is one of our customers from Pathum Thani with a two floor office and an electricity bill of 50,000 Baht. We agreed on a 80 kW system and now they save around 75% of their electricity bill while the investment pays for itself after only 3.6 years. Last time we checked in with them they couldn't have been happier because they are saving so much!

Hotels, restaurants & cafés

Hotels usually have a large electricity bill where most load comes from air conditioners. While these also run at night, at least the daytime usage can be offset with a solar installation and can save the hotel a large part of their bill and thus make the operation a lot more profitable.

Both restaurants and cafés typically run their aircons mostly during the daytime, for example between 8am and 10pm. This makes them a perfect fit for a solar installation as they can save 70-90% of their electricity bill.

An typical installation for hotels, restaurants and cafés pays for itself after only 3.5 years but many of our clients take a bank loan for the full amount of the installation. This way they don't have any costs upfront and we help them choose a loan duration so that the monthly costs are not higher than before. And then, after the 5-7 years of loan payback, they have a free solar installation that saves them up to 200,000 Baht every month.

Residential homes

If you are a home owner, a solar installation makes the most sense if your electricity bill is at least 4,000 Baht per month and you use most of their electricity during the daytime.

A typical solar installation for a bill of 5,000 Baht will be the size 5 kW and saves around half of the electricity bill. The cost is usually between 160,000 - 200,000 Baht and the investment will pay back itself after around 5 years.

If you pay for the installation not by yourself but with a bank loan then you would pay it off in around 7 years. For that time your monthly costs (bank loan installment plus the now smaller electricity bill) would be similar to your electricity bill without the solar installation.
